Flame Shield UP!
This is an opinion.
MQJinx: 2nd Intro

There are some characters out there who need some appreciation, and there are some characters that I'm just sick of seeing everywhere. Let's look at the ten characters that I find overrated.

#10

Spoiler

10. Master Chief

WHAT? MASTER CHIEF ISN'T #1? HOW COULD YOU? Well, as much as everyone finds him overrated, he isn't any higher because he has good development.

#9

Spoiler

9. Metal Man

Ah, Mega Man 2, the most overrated Mega Man game ever. Why? This guy. His weapon is so broken and he gets a lot of praise because of it. Give Metal Man a metal break.

#8

Spoiler

8. Koopa

Why did Koopa make the list and not Yoshi? Because Yoshi at least has some development. This guy is just someone that gets in your way, waiting to be stomped.

#7

Spoiler

7. Charizard

Charizard is a great Pokemon as it made its way into my Top 100 Favorite Pokemon list, but people are just giving it too much praise. Look at how high IGN placed it!

#6

Spoiler

6. Gordon Freeman

This guy was ranked #1 in Empire's Top 50 Greatest Video Game Characters. What? There are more developed characters out there than Gordon Freeman.

#5

Spoiler

5. Kratos

This character is nothing more than a Greek version of the Hulk. Joshscorcher backs me up by saying that this guy is not manly.

#4

Spoiler

4. Sora

This guy is too one-dimensional for me to like him.

#3

Spoiler

3. Lara Croft

OK everyone knows that she's overrated, but still I see worse. In Colin Moriarty's words, Lara Croft is a "virtual blow-up doll."

#2

Spoiler

2. Shadow the Hedgehog

This guy had good development in SA2 but dropped afterwards. And yet people are treating him like a king. Quoting Staryu...

Shadow, along with Silver, I hate with all my heart. I'm sorry to all the fans out there, but I really dislike them. I swear between the two of them... Shadow is egotistical (like Sonic...) and thinks he is better than everyone (oooooo I wish someone would make a joke about me ) and goes on how he's the ultamite lifeform, when he's not amazing at all. His fans are even worse...

[MQJinx]

This character, or two characters, are the ones that I just want to be out of popularity more than any other.
#1

Spoiler

1. Sephiroth/Cloud

Ugh. These two characters are just so overrated. Sephiroth's killing of Aeris isn't that tragic. Sephiroth and Cloud both have a personality of a teenager being dragged out of bed on a school day. They have so little development. And yet people are boasting about how godly they are. These two are, by far, the most overrated characters ever.
