Another game comparison, this time I tackle the Luigi's Mansion series to see which of the two games interest me more. LET'S GO!

In this area, 1 wins. The Portrait Ghosts have a lot of variety in them, while the ghosts in Dark Moon don't offer as much as the Portrait Ghosts.

Dark Moon takes the point here, for having a variety of mansions to explore with great design in them, unlike the original with only one mansion.

Dark Moon gets another point, as although the original had some humor it wasn't as common as it was in Dark Moon, with the random events during cutscenes.

The original gets the point here, as it has more memorable songs there, while a few tracks from Dark Moon stick out to me.

Dark Moon barely wins this point, as Luigi can now jump and use a rainbow beam to find even more objects, and the Poltergust now has an upgrade system.

Dark Moon gets more points for its diversity in its art styles in the multiple mansions, all capturing the horror feeling innvarious environments, something a single mansion can't trump.

The original wins in terms of bosses, as they all are unique unlike the Possessors, and can take creative ways to defeat them.

The conclusion: While the original was a great start, Dark Moon continues with the mechanics that helped improve it from the original.
