IGN gives Super Mario Galaxy 2 a 10/10

I can definitely see why. I think it is the best game ever (don't even get me started on how I hate the original 15th century Mario games) but that's beside the point). Seriously, this game is phenomenal, and I though SMG1 was an amazing game :D I seriously cannot think of any game that's better than this.

What do you guys think?

Uhh... I think saying "gave" would better fit the title. :p

And I agree with the score. I already loved the first Galaxy so much and they were able to create a sequel that only improved every aspect of an already amazing game.

By 15th century Mario games you must be referring to the first games in the series, in which I will have to disagree with you. They are all fun, just in a different, yet similar, way. I hope that made sense. :p

No, that's the 17th century. 15th century is the 1400s.

15th century: 1401 - 1500

17th century: 1601 - 1700

Anyway, Super Mario Galaxy 2 was a great game. Even though it was like the first game, it just had a handful of additions, like power-ups and Yoshi being playable. I think it was the game of year or something that I posted in the Super Mario Galaxy 2 Board. Speaking of which, this topic should go there, lol.

Don't worry, it made sense. I just don't believe that they are good compared to 75 percent of the other Mario platformers.

I was exaggerating.

Their scores are pretty fair. One thing that would have made it even better would be a true co-op mode. Plus, I really liked the orchestration for the music, as it really fit in well with the game. That final boss music was amazing though if only the final bowser battle was more difficult and long enough to listen to that entire music without holding back. The graphics were just as good as the first, and the story was alright I guess. I wouldn't be surprised if they made a Mario Galaxy 3 for Wii U. Imagine how it would be in full HD resolutions and high-leveled graphics.
