If math was hard, algebra is gonna be torture.

What sort of topics covered in the course Davis?
I checked the brochure for Summer Courses in College. One of the prerequisites of entering Chemistry and Biological Science is passing a certain math course, which is Intermediate Algebra if i remember right. (Wish i had the brochure on me so i could say what the exact class needed was. I'm p sure it was Int. Algebra though)

If I recall correctly, Intermediate Algebra was like Algebra II A and B in my high school.  Algebra II wasn't the easiest math class for me, nor the hardest.

Have you been doing Algebra I math, such as (x - 5 = 7) or (10x + 7 = 6)?  Algebra II is more than that, like Linear Equations and Solving Radicals.

Maybe they called Intermediate Algebra as 'Algebra I' in your area - I really don't know.  (Then again, I took Chemistry, and I needed just Algebra I to take it.  Unless this Science course you are taking is an honors course, Algebra I isn't really all that hard.  This type of math is basically trying to find the variable 'x' as well as other complicated math.)

I think the teacher will go over about it, but you should consider looking over algebra tutorials when you have the time.

Algebra is NOTHING compared to Geometry. If you want medieval torture, there's your course.
