I don't even have any art for this. Super Scrub 0/10 Not going to play this game at all. Well then f*** you that's your right.
Time to pretend to be serious and talk to you for a minute, so sit down because it's gonna take me a while to find the words to use to describe this to you.
Basiclly in order to curb my desires to host an activity on this forum again (I hosted the old M.P.I.Q. game on this site years ago) and because I love mafia games, I thought I'd try hosting my own game of mafia. For those of you who don't know how to play Mafia, allow me to explain it for you.
The Rules of the Game: The game of Mafia is a game that tests your ability to lie convincingly and check whether others are lying. Generally played with anywhere from 7-15 players, split into varying categories each with their own agendas. If you're a Town Member, your goal is to eliminate all the baddy bads, if you're a Mafia, your goal is to eliminate all who oppose the Mafia. If you're a Neutral role, well I'll get to how you win in a little bit.
The Factions:
Town: The Townies are a group of people who band together to out all the bad guys (e.g. Mafia, Serial Killers, Witches) The catch? The Townies don't know who's a Townie and who's a villain.
Mafia: The Mafia are group of individuals who seek to take over the town. All lower ranking mafias serve their boss, the Godfather and their goal is to eliminate all who oppose them, like the Townies and the Serial Killer.
Neutrals: And even in this time, there are still some people who aren't on either side. Some people have broken mental states and wish to kill everyone, some wish to be publicly executed, and some don't even remember what they were. One thing is for certain though, if they ever wished to accomplish something with their lives, they aren't going to get any better opportunity then this...
Role Listings
Note that this list is merely a list of roles that can POTENTIALLY be in the game. Not all will be used and there may be some duplicates.
Damn this took forever to write... but anyway that's a list of all the roles that can show up in this game. I ideally want to have 15 people sign up for this game (So I can have 9 Townies, 3 Mafias, and 3 Neutrals to keep it balanced.)

Role Listings
Note that this list is merely a list of roles that can POTENTIALLY be in the game. Not all will be used and there may be some duplicates.
Sheriff: The head of law enforcement forced into hiding due to fear of the Mafia. At night they can investigate one person to find out if their alignment. The Sheriff can figure out if their target is Pro-Mafia or a Serial Killer, but the Godfather will appear to be innocent to Sheriff investigations.
Investigator: A former police detective, the Investigator examines his target's house, habits, trash, etc. to determine his person's role in complete secrecy. At night he can choose a person to investigate and get an idea of their potential role through a character trait. (e.g. Your target works with knives. They may be a Doctor or Serial Killer. Your target seeks justice. They could be a Sheriff, Executioner, or Retributionist.)
Doctor: The Doctor is a former combat medic who loves making house calls. They having various degrees in medical science, and can cure just about anything that ails you. But due to funding conflicts, the Doctor will refuse to heal the Mayor if he gets into trouble. At night you can choose one person to visit, and heal them if they get attacked (including yourself, but only once.) You'll be notified if your target is attacked, but not who attacked them.
Escort: A former Broadway star who's as attractive as she is witty. At night she can keep even the most hard-working person at home and distracted. Whether that be the Mayor, Godfather, or even the house of the man claiming to show her tricks with a knife. At night you can choose a person to visit and prevent them from doing their night action, however if the person you visit turns out to be the Serial Killer, they will attack and kill you. (A Doctor can still heal you and prevent you from dying to this though.) The Escort is immune to roleblocks.
Vigilante: A crooked cop who aims to take the law into his own hands. In order to avenge the death of his father to the Mafia, the Vigilante ignores the Town's rule of death by lynching and takes a shot at whomever he deems to be evil. But he should be wary of whom he targets, for if he spills innocent blood, the next bullet he fires will be the one that rids the guilt that plagues his mind...
At night you may choose a person to shoot. You may fire 3 times over the course of the game, but your kill does NOT ignore Nighttime Immunity. If you shoot a town member, you will commit suicide over the guilt the next night. You CAN be killed by a Bodyguard.
Bodyguard: The Bodyguard is an ex-soldier who makes a living by selling protective services to anyone he deems fit. Armed with one bulletproof vest and a handgun, he'll protect his charge or die trying. At night you may choose one person to protect. If anyone attempts to kill them, you will die instead of the person you're protecting, but you'll kill your attacker as well. The Bodyguard's kill ignores Nighttime Immunity, but both you and your attacker can be healed by a Doctor. Also if your target visits a Veteran on alert, you can't protect your target. You also have 1 Bulletproof vest that you can equip at any one time (but you don't guard anyone else that night and you don't kill your attacker if you ARE attacked that night.) Even if you aren't attacked you lose the vest. You can't guard yourself, but another Bodyguard can.
Veteran: The Veteran is an old war hero who goes to sleep with a smile on his face with the knowledge that another Mafia member is dead and the Town is one step closer to safety. At night you can go on alert and if you choose to do so, you will kill ANYONE who visits you that night, regardless of faction. (Doctor's can still heal people you shoot.) You can only go alert 3 times, and your kill ignores Nighttime Immunity. There's no limit to how many people you can kill on alert. This role is Unique.
Mayor: The Mayor is the leader of the town. Forced into hiding due to the Mafia threat, the Mayor still wishes to help the town succeed in anyway they can. In the end, they realize the situation calls for drastic measures, and will reveal to the Town who they are, putting himself at the top of every villains hitlist... The Mayor is one of few roles in the game that has no night action, instead during the day they can choose to reveal who they are to the Town. Upon doing so, his voting power is tripled, but can no longer be healed by Doctors. (The Bodyguard can still protect you, and you can be healed by Doctors prior to revealing yourself.)
Medium: Dead Men Tell No Tales... well when you happen to be a Psychic with years of spiritual transendence under your belt, you quickly find you can't get them to shut up. Still, even though the Medium is dismissed by the Town, they really aren't aware of how much help hearing the dead truly is. After all, once you're dead, what have you got to lose? At night the Medium is capable with talking with the dead, but that's not all! If the Medium is dead, they can seance with the living, but only once. (The Seance is a day-time action, but you'll speak with your target at night.) You can continue communicating with the dead in a dead chat but be careful, as the spirits of fallen Mafia Members still tend to be loyal to their Godfather...
Retributionist: With the knowledge of magic far forgotten by any Witch, the Retributionist literally commands power over life and death. At night you may revive 1 Town Member. But it's a one time use, and once it's used, all you can do is vote on who you think is guilty. (Your revive will still take place even if you are killed.) The Retributionist is a "Unique role".
Lookout: The Lookout is an eagle-eyed observer, perched outside a person's house, they can ALMOST find out who visits their target's home without it being traced back to him. He just needs to be wary about visiting the Veteran when he's... busy. At night you can visit a person's house to see who visits them. You'll be notified of the NAMES of your target's visitors, but not their roles. (But it shouldn't be too hard to figure out who's a Serial Killer if they're the only person to visit your target and they die right?) You WILL be shot by a Veteran if you visit them while they're on alert (But you can still be healed.)
You WILL be shot by a Veteran if you visit them while they're on alert (But you can still be healed.)
Godfather: The Godfather is the leader of all organized crime. Every other member of the Mafia bows to his will, whether they be a lowly Framer to the up-and-coming Mafioso You're either with him or against him, and he'll stop at nothing to make sure all resistance to the Family is dealt with. You are the leader of the Mafia, and as such, you order who dies. If you have a Mafioso in your ranks, they'll kill your target instead of you. You are immune to night kills (Unless you visit an alerted Veteran or attack someone who's under a Bodyguard's protection.) and will show up as "innocent" to Sheriff investigations.
Mafioso: The Mafioso is a rising star amongst the Mafia ranks. He aspires to be just like the Godfather, and will follow his every order without fail. At night you are the right hand man of the Godfather's. You will kill the person the Godfather chooses to target, unless the person the Godfather targets has Nightkill Immunity. If the Godfather doesn't want to kill someone that night, you can choose someone to target instead. (Provided you do that before the deadline.) If the Godfather is hung, you will become the next Godfather. Both the Mafioso and Godfather are "unique roles".
Consort: The Consort is a twin of the Escort, seperated at birth. Just as charming, just as witty, but with a heightened sense of... adventure that lead her to joining the town's criminal underground. As the Godfather's left hand, she'll use her amazing beauty to charm anyone the Godfather tells her to, even if that person happens to have a fascination with knife tricks... The Consort's job is the same as the Escort's except the Consort works for the Mafia. Everything about the Escort applies to the Consort, from the immunity to role-blocking, to being killed by a Serial Killer if they visit them. If no Mafia-Killing roles exist, you will become a Mafioso.
Framer: The Framer is an expert at fabrication and incrimination. Using his vast criminal info network, he plants incriminating evidence on the target of his choosing, fooling even the most well trained Investigator. At night you may choose a person to frame. They will show up as Mafia in Sheriff investigations, and as a Framer to Investigator investigations. If no Mafia-Killing roles exist, you will become a Mafioso.
Janitor: The Janitor was a former Chief Medical Examiner for the town, but was fired due to his connections with the Criminal Underground. Now he takes work as a custodian, cleaning up the dirty work of the Mafioso or Godfather. He single-handedly removes any traces of the person's former identity and role. At night you may choose a person to clean. The person you clean will not have their role determined when they're discovered by the town. (Provided they die of course.) You may clean only 3 times, and you will be the only person who knows the role of the person you cleaned. Cleaned roles may not be resurrected by the Retributionist, but can be claimed by an Amnesiac. (Provided the role wasn't "unique") If no Mafia-Killing roles exist, you will become a Mafioso.
Consigliere: The Mafia being as resourceful as they are have paid off a detective of the town to withhold certain information, revealing it only to the Mafia. Like how the Consort is the Mafia's version of an Escort, the Consigliere is the Mafia's version of an Investigator. Using he's keen sense of deduction and the Mafia's vast pool of resources, he's capable of finding out EXACTLY what a certain person's role is. (e.g. If an Investigator investigates a Medium, they'd get a characteristic stating that the person in question works with dead bodies and could be a Medium or a Janitor. The Consigliere doesn't get the characteristic and is simply told their target is in fact a Medium.) If no Mafia-Killing roles exist, you will become a Mafioso.
The Consigliere doesn't get the characteristic and is simply told their target is in fact a Medium.) If no Mafia-Killing roles exist, you will become a Mafioso.
Jester: I said before the Doctor has several Medical Science degrees. Well unfortunately, one of those isn't in Psychology. In a time where mental instability isn't well treated, (hell it's practically ignored,) The Jester roams the streets of the town as a ticking time bomb. He can be completely normal when he wants to be, but in truth, all he wants in life is to be publicly executed. The Jester's goal is to get themselves lynched. If they succeed in doing this they win. Upon being lynched, the Jester may make 1 person who voted to have him hung commit suicide over the guilt, but only on the night after he's hung. (The Jester's Guilt ignores Night Immunity.) The Jester cannot kill someone over guilt if they are night killed.
Executioner: Something's biting at the Executioner's soul. He sees the man who wronged him in the past, and it makes him seethe with an almost inhuman rage. He can't stand to see him walking the same streets as him, and he'll do whatever it takes to see that person hung. But seeing him die in the night could completely break him... AND his mental state. Your goal is to hang a certain member of the town by any means necessary. You're immune to Night Kills as the Executioner, and win upon lynching your target. (Even if your target is revived by a Retributionist you still win.) You retain your night immunity if your target is hung, but you'll become a Jester if your target is killed at night. (Even if your target is revived by a Retributionist you will still be a Jester.)
Amnesiac: The Amnesiac used lead a glorious life until a tragic accident robbed him of everything but a shadow of the life he used to live. As the war between the Town and Mafia rages, and the bodycount rises, the Amnesiac visits the Graveyard one night. He sees a tombstone, and his eyes widen. He remembers everything. The Amnesiac is the single-most powerful role in the game in my opinion. He may take the role of anyone who has died (including roles cleaned by a Janitor but excluding "unique roles".) He then takes the side that's affliated with that role. He can be a Doctor, Bodyguard, Consigliere, or even a Serial Killer! The Town will be alerted to the role the Amnesiac takes, but not who the Amnesiac IS. (Unless they've been Investigated prior.)
Witch: The Witch was exiled from the Town for practicing magic. Seething with rage, the Witch control the man with the knives to do her bidding, and exact revenge on the town. The Witch is capable (at night) of controlling one person and making them target whomever the Witch chooses. You can only control things such as Investigations and Killings. You win as long as the Town loses. (And you live to see that happen.)
Serial Killer: A single man sits around in a cell in the town's penitentiary. Convicted of murder in the first-degree, he wastes his days away in loneliness. But desperate times call for desperate measures. Slipped between the bars of his cell are a key, a knife, and a note reading "The Family sends their regards." A fiendish grin overtakes the Serial Killer's face as he plans his vengeance, one victim at a time... The Serial Killer's goal is simple, kill everyone. At night you may choose someone to kill. You're immune to nightkills, and will win a tie against the Godfather. (Meaning if the game comes down to a Serial Killer and a Godfather, the Serial Killer will win.) If you're visited by an Escort/Consort, you'll kill them instead of who you were going to target that night.
Executioner: Something's biting at the Executioner's soul. He sees the man who wronged him in the past, and it makes him seethe with an almost inhuman rage.
