I've got hockey training twice tomorrow (From this post) and play on Saturday. We thankfully only need to go down the street for a makeshift hockey place.

I do not love hockey, but I like it. It's fun to watch it with friends on week-ends.
I haven't been a fan of hockey, but I've watch 1-2 games in the past 10 years. =P I've met the Avalanche, but that was 9 years ago. We got to skate with them on the ice, which was cool. I also got two Avalanche Stanley Cup pucks from a guy in the car next to us (happened years ago).
I don't watch it but its actually pretty good. I just never got into it before. I mean its loads more exciting than baseball.
Yeah, they always fight, which I didn't know that they'd do. I have seen some hockey clips where a player gets his face ripped open from a hockey stick. God, it was awful.cookieboy17 said:

They've been trying to change that for years. Unfortunatly we have bigot assholes in the game who think it's part of the 'spirit' to ram someones head into a pole.

Which brings me to my point of why the game needs to change fighting. For the record, hitting is an actual part of the game, strategically to wear down your opponents confidence and focus. But there is a difference between hitting someone against the boards and they get up a few seconds later, and ramming their head into a metal post.
Fighting's the same. Odd fight in the game is fine, as long has the other guy gets up.
