It is hard to control, but I don't seem to have problems with it. I had little trouble on how to control it at first, but now I'm good. I think the problem with yours, according to what I've seen on the video, is that you have very limited ground to to save yourself. The enemies only make it more annoying. The ugly part is that when you hit an obstacle, you lose the Goomba Skate.

Lol I really hate the Goomba skate. The world crown one is really annoying because I keep getting hit by the spiky wall things. I finally got the hang of it though.
