Favorite Nintendo Franchise

[Super Mario Party]

Mario, Zelda, Pokémon, etc. So much to choose from. The three I listed are my top 3 favorites (in that order), so my favorite is Mario. There are always a plentiful amount of Mario games released each year and they are all so amazing. Over 25 years later, Mario continues to impress.

What's your favorite Nintendo franchise and why?

Mario because it's awesome and I love it! The series has spawned so many amazing games and they are so addicting.

My most favourite Nintendo franchises would easily be Mario and Pokemon. Both have great games that are in their own right fun!

So much choices, but I'll go with Donkey Kong and Pokemon. I also like Kirby, StarFox and more recently Metroid.

Mario, then it's pretty much a tie with some of the other major series Nintendo has had
(Kirby, Zelda, Metroid, Donkey Kong, Fire Emblem, Yoshi, and Pokemon)
Mario games just keep on making more and more great games compared to the others.

Well, the games I like change from time to time, so I have no definite favorite.
But I'd pick Zelda.

I also like the Starfox series a lot.  I like Kirby and Metroid..  but not really crazy for them.  lol

This is tough because I don't have a specific "favorite" franchise from Nintendo, particularly because Nintendo focuses heavily on Mario and recently Zelda and Kirby that others are left in the dust.

I'd go with either Donkey Kong or Banjo-Kazooie if Rare was still with Nintendo.

I would say that my favorite franchise is Mario games, because I really enjoy most of the games of the series. (Especially Mario Kart, and also Mario Party!) Of course, I am a fan of a lot of other series, like Pokemon, and much more...

I enjoy most of Nintendo's franchises but I have to go with the series that left me the least disappointed and that's the Mario series.
I was extremely disappointed with the NSMB games, especially the Wii game. On the other hand I enjoyed the 3D games except Super Mario 64, as well most of the Mario Kart and Mario Party spin-offs.

I personally haven't been able to get into the Metroid games minus the Prime series and maybe Super Metroid. I didn't enjoy any of the handhelds or the very first game at all, and Metroid Other M was my biggest first party disappointment, but that's for another topic.

Maybe if Retro continue developing more Donkey Kong games, Donkey Kong could be my favorite. I absolutely loved DKCR and hope this game doesn't end up being the only game by Retro. I also would like them to continue working on the Metroid series, but obviously that's no longer the case.

Other M is the only Metroid game that I didn't like (the original aged badly, but it's still enjoyable to play....but I'd skip to Super Metroid anytime). Other than that, the franchise is solid.
