Embarrassing Phobias!

  Do you have an embarrassing phobia?  Just to prove my loyalty (and to see how you will respond) I will share my stupidest yet teeth clenching to me phobia... ready?
Globophobia-the fear of BALLOONS!
Go ahead laugh at me... I'm used to it :-[.  They just overall creep me out.  I always just stand there, anticipating any of them to pop!  It is scary for me.  I have gotten to the point where I can blow one up MYSELF but still can't pop one.  I just don't trust other people, especially other kids.  Anyway, what is yours?

I feel sorry for you. Anyways, I'm not really scared of anything unless it involves heights or things popping up out of nowhere. I'm not motivated to ride roller coasters that its tracks go higher than a five-story high building. I'm not really scared of heights if I'm looking down at something that I find to be somewhat of a beautiful scenery. When I watch a horror movie, I'm not scared unless something or someone comes out of nowhere (which would cause me to cry). For Example: If a balloon popped, I'd either cry or beat them until they say their sorry. ANYTHING would scare me if it magically showed up out of nowhere! My phobias aren't really embarassing but its better if people know more about me rather than being like some kind of non-existent user though.
 
I am scared of people with power. People like presidents or governors scare me because I have a feeling they are going to take over the world or something.
However my biggest phobia is Thanatophobia, the fear of death. I can't comprehend the fact that we will one day die and never walk again. The fact that we will forever be gone is just to overwhelming for me and most of the time gets me to cry and reevaluate everything in my life. I am also afraid of clowns.
 
I can't really think of any. I have vertigo if that counts (the fear of heights).
 
I'm not fond of insects and fire. Insects are just...creepy. And fire can be deadly, especially when little kids grab hold of a lighterr and play with 'em. That happened at my old apartment complex, two floors above my apartment...burned that whole apartment, but was lucky that it didn't get to any others.

Hmm...balloons are scary if people just try popping them right in your ear or face, but otherwise they're fine.
 
@Snowy: Well, when I like go to a sports arena in Syracuse (like the Carrier Dome), I get so tense when I go up to nose bleed seats. And then when I go into the mall and ride the elevators (where there's see through glass), I get so nervoud I literally start shaking a little. I HATE going on escalators, I usually just run up the stairs if they're clear lol. So I guess I just have an uneasy feelings of heights. But it's not like I just flip the fuck out whenever I go a floor higher lol. Also, with Staryu, I am also uneasy with insects, but I'm pretty sure everyone is at some level. :p
 
Oh God, not the escalators. I have a fear of heights, too, and get vertigo when I'm high up. Whenever I go on escalators, my legs start to get weak and shake. Going down's the easy part, but going up is a whole other story. If I'm lucky, I can persuade my friends to take the stairs, but I never win those battles. :p

OMG there's this escalator in this Mall me and my Mom go to (it's very far from where I live, need to take a bus there). And that Mall's escalator... It's so fucking big. It takes you so high up, that at a point, it feels so slanted that you can fall over if you don't hold on. XD
