Easter 2012

Today is Easter! My Easter (and Holy Week) has been pretty intense and this is probably the best one I have had.

How about you? And do you celebrate/observe Easter?

It's been a pretty good Easter. We quit doing the Easter Egg hunting a few years ago, so now we just go to the store and pick up some candy. But yeah, we observe Easter.

Hm, uneventful easter so far. Not much to do other than munch on candy.
But i suppose not everyone has an eventful holiday, eh?

While I can tolerate this holiday more than some holidays, I don't really celebrate it anymore.

We used to get baskets and go easter egg hunting, but that kind of died down when I grown so old.

I just got back from church and lunch, it was relaxing. But yeah, a great Easter today.

Not doing much this Easter - my mom's birthday was today (I suck at remembering Birthdays...) and a lot of people came to visit her

...also ~ I'm starting to feel some kind of... depression... from today... (everyone here for a birthday only...)
...I wish to go back to church one day ~ we don't go enough - we mostly ski in place of it...

...well ~ I've still got Easter Monday for me... one more day for my long weekend~

My family hardly acknowledges that Easter exists now that everyone is old enough to drive.  We do have a family meal every year on Easter though.  No church. egg hunts, or candy for us.  We just watched baseball around noon and then I had to work.  Just another normal day.

My family doesn't celebrate Easter so I spent it like any other day.
