Delivering Mail

Yes. On Paper Mario, delivering mail sorta acted out as the sidequests of the game. It was fun delivering them for a while but after some time I found it boring and I didn't get myself to deliver ALL mail in the game.

Did you guys like this mechanic? Was it fun?

I don't remember if there was even some sort of counter telling you how much you've delivered...

Nope, no counter. But if you get all 160/160 Star Pieces and 80/80 Badges, you know you did all the mail delivering.

It's a nice concept, but it was a bit repetitive unless you have the Pipe Transit System open. It's also a nice way of getting more Star Pieces, too. There was one long mail delivery all around the Mushroom Kingdom.

The only one I hated was the mail you had to deliver to get the Lucky Day badge.  You went all over just for a fricken badge lol.

I loved watching Chuggaaconroy go insane doing this. But again I don't have the game so I can't tell you whether or not its good or not. It does seem extremely repetitive.

The only thing I remember about the mail was that every character was either tedious to fine or too hard to fine. You needed Goombario to help you with the characters that you didn't know.

Yeah. That's probably the only reason you'd need Goombario at all in this game.
