Cat Mario
The newest transformation in Mario's arsenal of powerups, donning the cat suit allows him all the perks of feline mobility. Doesn't it have a certain charm that just makes you want to go "here kitty kitty"?
Cat Luigi
Never to be outdone by his brother, Luigi's feline garb makes him as supple as a cheetah. Sadly, green isn't the best camouflage for areas other than the grasslands; but at least his nimbleness, legendary jump, and pounce make up for what the suit lacks in stealth.
Cat Peach
Tired of always being the damsel in distress, Peach has joined the brothers and Toad in the latest adventure in the Sprixie Kingdom. Of course, she couldn't resist the charm of a Super Bell and the powers it grants. Don't underestimate the princess in pink on the prowl!
Cat Toad
More specifically, it's Blue Toad in a cat suit. Defending the princess and helping the brothers is like second nature to this fungal fellow. He's definitely used to zany powerups anyway, not like a cat is crazier than flying squirrels or tanookis.
These ranks would be allocated (max 1 each) to members who are nominated and staff-chosen for being notable contributors to the forum community in the last month (or quarter, or whatever time period is deemed suitable). Like prior ranks I've made, these would override the normal non-post based rank a person has, unless they are staff. I suppose each rank could have its own sub-specialty as per below, but if it's too hard they can be allocated by top 4 (with Mario>Luigi>Peach>Toad):
Cat Mario - for a member who considers various means by which the forum experience can be made even better (activities/themes/mods)
Cat Luigi - for a member who strives for quality in posts and discussion, inviting other members to reply in turn with detail and interest
Cat Peach - for a member who brings everyone back together after other members become entangled in less than savory confrontation
Cat Toad - for a member who remains reliable and ensures that their fellow members' wellbeing is as best as can be
Originally I was considering giving the ranks to certain people in the existing Mario/Luigi/Toad/Yoshi ranks, but that's asking for too much. (Plus VIP would get Cat Mario by default. >.>)
