Dec 22 - Create an Original Character

Objective: Time to let your creations come to life! In this contest, create an original character. You can provide background information, personality, abilities, style, motivations, any actions the character took in your fan works, and an image. The more detail you provide, the more your character will be voted for. The minimum requirements are a description of your character's appearance, backstory, abilities, and personality.

Fifty-seven-year-old manager of the Mushroom Kingdom's engineering company building in Mario and Luigi's hometown and mentor to the Mario Brothers; He studies endlessly to master the art of every constructional craft and gives that knowledge to his employees; and he shows his skills. He takes in Mario and Luigi when they apply for a carpentry/plumbing job and quickly notices their potential (especially that of Mario's). It was his job to keep the rest of the company together following the events of Donkey Kong, but the national hero Mario became his favorite. When evil minions of Bowser used this relation to try to kidnap him and his wife in order to set a trap for Mario, he fought the enemies valiantly with the most basic of tools (his fists, wrench, hammer, his boots, etc.)until a giant crab struck his back; fortunately, Stephanie and the brothers saved him from further defeat. While he has since recovered (Stephanie assisted him in his wheelchair), as he approaches his sixties and defects from his injuries, he fears he may have to end his direct involvement with his workers, but he and Stephanie have a fast-growing daughter that shows clear interest in inheritance to keep their spirits up.
Characteristics: A tall, burly man whose strength unknowingly rivals Wario's. He has a thin beard with lightish brown, greying hair he only grooms for important conventions, a large nose and blue eyes. His preferred clothing is a professional suit and dark blue tie. He's kind of stern and secretive, but warms up once you get to know him. His main ability is that how much he can tell from something(or someone) just by looking at them as he thinks of everything as a structure of some sort.

Yoshette
A female Yoshi that is very much like a Yoshi in appearance, only with magenta skin, blue saddle, long hair, and special rainbow-colored shoes.

Backstory: Yoshette is a Yoshi born and raised on Yoshi's Island. Sometime by her teens, she moved to live her grandparents so she could help take care of them since she is worried about them as they are getting on with their age. Occasionally, she visits Yoshi's Island and the Mushroom Kingdom to visit Mario, Luigi, other Yoshis, and more who live there.

Abilities: Yoshette has abilities similar to a Yoshi, but her rainbow-colored shoes allows her to run faster than most Yoshis can. Faster than Yoshis, but slower than Sonic The Hedgehog. Plus, she could spin like Tiny Kong/Dixie Kong with her long hair.

Personality: Yoshette is a very friendly Yoshi girl, always eager to make friends. Although she may be the only female Yoshi among the Yoshis who are male, all the Yoshis respect her. She is very sociable to friends who are kind to her. She won't like those that are mean or who may be complete strangers, though. Yoshette knows what she is doing depending on what characters are in her presence.

They're triplets. The Blue one's name is Maxie, and he's a punk who's actually just a big crybaby who pretends to be a jerk to be cool. He calls himself 'The Mad Dog'. The Red one's name is Ruby, she's a shy girl guided by a mysterious pair of ghostly arms which she tends to use as a second pair-to cover her face. She's so shy she doesn't even like to show her face to people, not to mention she's Androphobic (afraid of men). The Yellow one's name is Blaine, he's an Insect Enthusiast, and actively collects and cares for them, his favorite being a Praying Mantis (pictured above) named Socrates. He often gets into fights with his Brother Maxie and does not like him. However, even with their sibling rivalry they both love their Sister Ruby.
