EDIT: Mario Party Experience - So I was playing Perilous Palace Path (Mario Party: Island Tour) this morning, as Boo, with Yoshi, Wario, and Waluigi as opponents, all under normal difficulty. The game was going smoothly until half-way through. I was winning until I landed on the red ? Space by the Chain Chomp, and sent me back. I got chased again on the next turn, while Wario sped ahead, with a Super Star. He was already at the end, and a couple of turns later (after I sent him back with a Backwards Bill), he went to the Whomp and dealt 5 out of 6 points of damage. On my next turn, I used Crazy Kamek, which swaps every player's positions. Luckily, I changed places with Wario and now in first. And since I had yet to roll after using the item, I rolled and destroyed the Whomp and won the game. I was very lucky with Kamek.

My story isn't too long, but it's a story none the less. It was around Mario Party 7's hayday, and my brother and I were playing. I don't remember which board we played, nor which minigames for certain, but we had three 1v3 minigames, all the with the CPU's in charge. For some reason, they kept targeting my brother. I specifically remember him losing StratosFEAR! HARD CORE at the last of the trio of 1v3's, he got so frustrated, he threw that mike at the window, and there's been a dent in the cover ever since. That is, less the people who moved in when we moved out replaced the window. I remember my mom coming in, like, in a frenzy saying "What happened? Did something blow up?" I don't remember, however, what I was doing (probably still playing) during that. I think I was like, six when this happened, because my bro was about 10 at that point.

Should I talk about my 1st time playing damn Mario Party 9. Lemme clock the tea on this damn game. When I 1st brought the game, which was hell of it's own dimension but we'll clock that for another time, TELL ME WHY I LOST THE 1ST DAMN STAGE on my 1st damn try. Those damn mini-stars can go straight to hell. I came in 3rd place but damn Shy Guy came in 2nd so I lost. This stupid c*** landed on Event and went to those damn Star Island (That circular crap) close to the end. Computers collected and had a piece of the offering but me on the other hand landed on damn Event so I literally got s***. Mind you I won EVERY mini-game including the Boss Battles but those damn mini-stars. And then right at the F***ing end, I land on Bowser and lose 1/2 of my mini-stars. Don't you know a b**** was ready to go back to Roosevelt Field via N35 / N15 / N16 / N43 (At that time) and return the damn game. My mom played the game and even beat me when we face off. Was the 1st time she ever beaten me in a Mario Party game. Just to show you that the luck is rather high on that damn game.

OK, here's my story. We all know why Bowser Station from MP9 is a stupid board - luck-based, can't choose the boss battles in Party Mode, etc. But here's why I hate it. When I first played Story Mode in MP9, it was very easy for me. I mean - I got 1st place in all boards from the first time. Except for one board - Bowser Station. The first time it was OK - Bowser space, lost half of my Mini Stars and lost the game to Shy Guy. The second time I didn't have luck and I lost because THE BOARD IS LUCK-BASED. But we're not talking about one or two times - we're talking about FIVE TIMES!!!. Since then, I hate that board and it's the worst board I've ever played (except for Bowser's Warped Orbit).

So I played Mario Party 9 just recently (Yesterday to be exact) and I lose on some BS. My cousin was Kamek and the two CPU was Luigi and Wario (both master difficulty), and I was Princess Peach. First off my cousin keep picking luck mini-games and I told him those are completely luck and no skill but he kept on picking them. He vaild excuse for picking them was he had a notebook based on probability and he tries to incorporate it onto the game... So basically he trying to rely on luck to help him win, then someone land on Bowser and we did a battle for half of your mini-stars. He pick the mini-game (since he was in last place) and he choose Mecha Choice. Luigi won and now got in first place. Finally we did the boss battle and I won but that didn't help since Luigi was so far ahead in mini-star count. I won two awards and Luigi won one and I still lost... That game luck knows no bounds...

I played Mario Party 9 Solo Mode. The character that I used was Mario. In Toad Road, I won with a total of 83 Mini Stars. In Bob-omb Factory, I won all three Bonus Stars, the Minigame Star, the Minus Star, and the Far Star and I ended up with a total of 119 Mini Stars. In Boo's Horror Castle, I got the Slow Star and the Spin Star Bonus Stars. I got 74 Mini Stars in this board. In Blooper Beach, I got a total of 85 Mini Stars. In Magma Mine, the computer opponents were Wario, Shy Guy, and Magikoopa. I got first place on this board and I got 68 Mini Stars. And finally, in Bowser Station, I also got first place. I completed Solo Mode with first place in all 6 boards.

I also made a post in the N64 Mario Party board:

Quoting what Impulse said. Oh no ma'am. Post denied. Do it again and you will be given points towards a ban

Impulse: "A mini-game that tests your memory, which is good for me cuz I have good memory skills (well to a certain extend). Also did anyone try to cheat off the CPU? I say this because they intentionally pick the wrong character then quickly choose the right one.

Charles: "This mini-game tests your memory. If you memorize the order of the characters, it will be very easy to play."

A few weeks after getting MP9, I went to my friend's house to play it. We did Bob-Omb Factory, and right before the 1st boss, there's a Bowser Jr. Space and a Dash and a Back Space nearby. So for like 4 or 5 turns in a row, we had Bowser Jr. games being played... Oh god it was so long LOL

Then at the end of that game, my friend and I tied for the Superstar, with both of us having 78 mini-stars... IDK how, cause that was a miracle and I didn't even know it was possible for that to happen. XD
It was his first time playing MP9 as well... And I don't even remember if the Bomb blew up on me there. :p

Topic I made in the N64 MP Board.

I got Island Tour yesterday, and after playing Perilous Palace Path and Kamek's board, I played Banzai Bill's Mad Mountain. And I tell ya, I was on my feet the whole time. Not only was I going last, I kept rolling numbers close to the Banzai Space. Yoshi and Wario kept activating the Bill during the halfway point, while Luigi and I (Toad) kept hiding in the holes. Yoshi, Wario, and Luigi all got sent back by the Bill when they approached, so I feared it was my turn next. I was 5 spaces away, but I managed to stall long enough to win the minigame and go exactly 5 spaces.

This story just happens to be the complete opposite of Sashe's which I wish I hadn't read and you shouldn't either. In fact, there's quite a few stinkers.

So there I was, in Bowser Station. Things were going pretty good until Mario beat me at the mini-boss game. I was narrowly in Second, but I came back strong, especially after a Bowser's Reverse Game. Then, the Captain Event; Captain Kamek placed me where he thought I couldn't win, but I won the Ministars. With me still in a leisurely first place, the final fight with Bowser couldn't come soon enough.
When we first rolled the dice, things got intensely close until launched his Fire Attack against us. I was the only one able to dodge! I felt a surge in self-confidence, even as he attacked more and more, the blasts getting bigger. Only after half of his health was gone, he was able to hit truly everyone. I didn't know what to expect and then I saw his giant cube and that face-my true archenemy: King Boo. He sent out his minions and one of them got me, the first time I had been hurt in the battle. Another round ensued. I knew the next one would be the last; I had to make this one count (I was never in any real danger because of my skills with all the fire, but the scope of it was nearly sweat-enducing). Bowser made breathed fire once again before making his last move; the King and his ghost army returned, seeking more of me, but I put the gameface to end all gamefaces and learned their moves, avoiding them. When the final dice were thrown, I barged through anything lacking the face of Luigi and I swung my energy as if thrusting the Master Sword straight into Ganon's beating heart, roaring with vigor.
Bowser disappeared; it was all over. I, Luigi, was heroically awarded with victory of the Ministars and Mario was there, not in shame like losers usually are. He was so proud of me, his exhausted, joyful Superstar little brother. I think I cried a little as I watched the credits and recorded them. I kept thinking about Mario and Shy Guy and gave them each a constellation and some quality time in the cooperative Minigames before I began another quest to see them all and find out what the ultimate face of evil was hiding from me.

Well today I played on Star-crossed Skyway and it ended in epic fashion. I was Yoshi and I got Flutter the first two times and won almost all the mini games exempt the lakitu luck one, so I was up by 20 after the first two star stages. Then I got bone goomba and Dry Bones on the next two star stages. I lost my big lead by the time I finished because of bad mini game selection, Paddle Skedaddle, Garden of Eatin, Spin the Bubble, and Cannonball. I placed in last on all of them except Garden of Eatin and that was 3rd. I did not choose them though :p. My lead was down to seven. Wario and Boo who was in dead last were left for the star stage with Koopa Paratroopa and Flutter left so me and Wario would break a tie which I always lose :p or lose. Boo landed on a mini game Musical snares and I got first for the bonus mini star mini game and Wario got third so I had an 11 star lead. I ended up winning 35-29 against Wario. Boo and Bowser Jr. were not even close to contending. I think Boo was at two before getting Flutter on the last one :p. Cpu was on master

IDK if I've said this once before, but a long time ago, I played a Duel in Mario Party 3 against my younger brother.
I played as Peach so I could start with Toad and he played as DK just because.

We both lost our partners right away (I forgot how, but I'm assuming it's thanks Game Guy), but I luckily got Toad again, and destroyed my brother with him (half the time I also landed on his spaces, in which Toad prevented me from losing coins to him).

In the end, I won with no lives lost, and my younger brother banned me from using Peach because of that. :pClassic Mario Party Post
