Anyone else watch this show & think just how stupid it is?

I mean, the concept is interesting (they pit 2 different historical groups/people against each other in battle, like Gladiators and Apache warriors or George Washington and Napoleon Bonaparte). But the way they execute it is so ridiculous.

Its supposed to be "scientific" but their science is retarded. They don't even use the same tests for each group. So they'll be testing who's long range weapon is the most deadly and make one group test theirs on a side of beef while the other tests theirs on fake dummies. Only good part is how into it the experts get. They start trash talking and everything like they're seriously going to have to battle each other =P

I have watched this before... Yeah it's not a very good show but I have watched it before if nothing else was on.

It might be cool if the science wasn't so dumb. Its like they purposefully try to make it as un-scientific as possible, but then they blab the whole show about the science and rigorous testing and whatever. Like the episode I saw yesterday, they would test one side's weapon against the other side's armor, but not the other way around for that round and then they'd be like "Well this side wins this round because the other side's weapon wasn't very effective against their armor". WTF? lol

I think it's a cool concept, I'm also interested in the weapons etc that different factions used. The part at the end where the factions 'battle' though is pretty stupid though.

The weapons are interesting. And the end part is super retarded, but that's just to make it entertaining I guess because a computer running numbers is a lot less interesting lol. The whole computer simulation is stupid though, no way that program can accurately figure out who'd come out on top.
