Anyone else play this game? I remember playing this game so much as a kid. I loved the battling style, and the gameplay was so fun. Music was catchy too. I never managed to beat the final boss though, I didn't know what I had to do and I kept getting hit. :p
I also loved rebuilding the towns and getting rewards for doing so, though I didn't know exactly how the layout had to go for each town lol
Levelling up your weapons was fun as well, though you needed to be careful not to have your weapons break. :p
Partners were fun to use, though have to switch around a lot got annoying. My favorite partner was Xiao (the cat like partner), she attacked quick and could attack from far as well.
Item storage in this game is actually alright, you can get pockets to increase your maximum, and you'll need it, you'll fill up with items fast. There's also items that help increase power and defense for your partners.
So what did you think of this game?

Well, you're controlling this person named Toan (or whatever you name him :p). His town has been destroyed, but in dungeons, Toan can touch these things called "Atlas" to restore parts and people of the current town he's in. Every town has a dungeon with several floors, and you gotta kill enemies to find the key to the next floor. (Try to get all the items though) It's not turn-based though. Toan uses swords, but be careful, your weapons do have HP, so they can break and disappear. Your default weapon never disappears, but when it breaks it's severly weakened. You can upgrade your weapons, and even turn them into other weapons as long as the right stats are put in when upgrading. Pay attention to your character's HP as well, if it falls to 0, you die and have to start over the floor. When you die after getting your next partner though, you need this item called "Stand-In Powder" to switch your partner, otherwise you have to start over the floor. Don't worry though, you can revive someone with a certain item if they do die. There's also some annoying status problems, and you also need to pay attention to your character's quench meter, because if it's empty, you'll gradually lose HP.

Along the way though, you get more allies (at the end you'll have 6) and each partner can do unique things to help you progress (Like Toan can touch Atlas, Xiao can jump the huge gaps, etc.). Some allies can attack from a distance, and others need to be close. Choose the partner that works best for you!

Yeah I kind of went on randomly about the gameplay at times, but this should give you an idea :p
