As Redundant as this is, I like Rosalina....and Mario though XP
Peach. That hovering ability she has really helps me at times.
Mario and Toad.
Peach and Rosalina are too slow, and Luigi, I just don't like using him.

Definitely Mario. And probably Peach for some harder levels... 
Toad . Using his speed is super exhilarating , and I like getting things done fast .
Luigi, because 1. He's the only character I've ever played as in 3D World and 2. I'm used to slippery shoes and high jumps.
Toad because of his speed. I use Mario frequently too because of his overall balance.
I generally use Toad for speedrunning a stage & Luigi for some high jumping platforming. Peach & Rosalina I occasionally use & Mario I never use.
All of them equally. Because you have to use all of them at least once per stage to complete the game and get their stamps.
