I talked to this weird guy on a train, and I was headed to the town of Yooya for a surprise. I was mayor! I talked to Isabelle, and got a home from Tom Nook... well... a tent. Anyways... I designed some exotic fireworks for the fireworks show.
At the fireworks show, I met my best friend in real life on the game, and she gave me some items (red glasses and a cool hat). Then she also gave me some fruit and showed me a bit about the game. We then just played around in my new village, telling me ways to improve.
