2012-2013 NFL Season

Preseason starts tomorrow!

I've been dying for this, especially since the Broncos picked up Manning during the offseason. I have a feeling we're going to have a phenomenal year with the fresh, talented rookies and veterans we have. We're gonna be heading to the playoffs this year. ;D Just hope we're not plagued by injuries like we were in previous years.

And don't post here if you aren't interested in American football.

Edit: Forgot about the HOF game. XD

Preseason started with the HOF game Sunday lol.

And the Broncos have the potential to be beast next season. Idk if they have their safety spots taken care of especially after Dawkins retired but the rest of that defense is beastly and now Peyton at the helm is gonna be fun to watch. Last year the defense had to hold pretty much every team to like 10-14 points so Tebow could score his 4th quarter TDs or let Prater hit clutch long kicks.

My Giants are gonna be good too, probably somewhere between 8-8 and 11-5. We got a lot of the same people returning. Hopefully our running game isn't as bad as last season but we got Eli, the man who set the record for 4th quarter passes. Though we're kinda cheap at the CB spot with Terrell Thomas out for the year.

The 49ers are gonna be scary again this season, they have the same defense returning they were deadly. The Packers are good and the Eagles might break out this season depending on Vick's health. The usual suspects in the AFC (Pats, Steelers, Ravens) as well as the Texans should run the tables again.

I think the Broncos did alright for our first preseason game. Peyton Manning only went in for a series or two and threw an INT, but we still bounced back to win by 28 points. So far, I have a feeling that Xavier Omon will be able to move up on the depth chart with his elusiveness. I've been dying to see more Jeremiah Johnson; I think he has hidden potential and can become an awesome power RB. Our defense did a great job of keeping the Bears from getting any points and yards.

I'll miss having the Cutler-Marshall combo on our team, but I think we'll be solid for the time being, especially with Thomas and Decker as Manning's go-to guys.

Peyton Manning looks as if he never left the game. He had a 129 QB rating, which is great against the No. 1 defense in the NFL. The offense looked great, besides the early fumble. The defense did alright, though they kinda slowed down a bit during the third quarter. The last few defensive drives, Von Miller and Tracy Porter did exceptionally well; Porter with the Pick 6 and Miller with the several sacks.

I wasn't too sure how tonight was gonna turn out, but we're on the right track. I'm definitely looking forward to next week's Monday night game against the Falcons. I'm glad that football's back. =)

And about the replacement officials, they need to be canned and have the regular officials back, their officiating is atrocious and mediocre. They gave Seattle 4 timeouts, they let Tomlin have his challenge even though our play had already began, the poor penalty calls, so much crap they need to straighten out. :what:

Well...I'm glad it was the Ravens that took home the Lombardi trophy, since we (Broncos) didn't get there. Also glad to see San Fran have their first SB loss (5-1). XD
Similar, as I was rooting for the Cardinals. Of course, it wasn't as intense for me. :p

Glad they won, and I really enjoyed the game. The last few I can remember were duds for me. :p

There were some really, really bad calls against the 49ers. Ravens were holding and touching face masks left and right and they weren't getting called, but as soon as the 49ers touched the ball, they get called for every minor offense. It was unbelievable.

Ravens can go suck it, especially Ray Lewis, that murderer.
