2011-2012 NFL Season

It's about time. =)

I've been waiting 6 years to be back into the playoffs. Still wish the Broncos would've beat the Chiefs, but I'm just happy we're there. Tebow better not screw this up. I don't like Tebow that much, since he loves to hold on to the ball and doesn't have QB vision worth a damn, but I love how he never gives up. He just better improve with his throwing because we aren't going anywhere with just running the ball/throwing picks.

Broncos - 29, Steelers - 23

Holy crap, I can't believe how that ending went. It was perfect! =) It reminds me of the OT win that Favre had against us a few years back.
That didn't take long at all.

Tim Tebow showed today that he can throw. He impressed me today and exceeded my expectations for what I thought was going to happen. Now we have to fight our way through NE...

It's time to relax here in Broncos Country and celebrate our first playoff win since the '05 season. =)

Giants beat the Falcons woo! Now to go to Green Bay and keep rollin. 8) Easier said than done though lol.

And I was kinda rooting for the Steelers since they're my 2nd favorite team but it's hard not to root for Tebow at the same time lol. Broncos should've won that game by more though they got robbed on a few bad calls.

Yeah, that flippin' fumble...so-called incomplete pass. I think the officials need to look at their process of determining whether it's a dead ball or not, that's twice now they've made that mistake, the first being with the Broncos/Chargers game a few years back. The officials are actually making the game very dull with the tight rules on tackling a player. I think it's good that they're trying to protect the players, but it's getting way too gentle. Football's suppose to have hard-hitters and injuries, but with the rules today, it's harder to tackle a guy cleanly, especially since your mind isn't focused on how to cleanly tackle a guy when he has the ball: It's instinct.

Anyway, to stray off the officials' talk, the Broncos proved to the Steelers and their division that they earned their way to the playoffs and doing so by defeating the No. 1 ranked defense. I'm also surprised Tebow wasn't sacked at all, gotta give that O-line credit, especially since Kuper was out.

If the Broncos can run the clock the way they did last week they have a shot. That and no turnovers. I think the 49ers will upset the Saints by forcing at least 2 turnovers. The Giants have a shot with a rejuvenated run game and a fierce pass rush but the Packers are getting back Jennings which is ultimately the bigger advantage imo. And the Ravens should be able to handle the Texans at home with Ray Rice.

Peyton Manning is gonna sign with Denver, I'm sure your happy Chubs.
I'm loving this moment. ;D

I know he's near the end of his career, but we need a QB, not a FB as our QB. Tebow still doesn't know how to throw, and might not ever know how to throw like an NFL QB, but we really needed to get away from Tebow's playbook. I can see us becoming AFC West champions and making it deep into the playoffs with him at the helm. I'm just hoping injuries don't plague him because he's very rare to come by.

I can't wait to see us play next season. I'm very excited to see what'll happen.

The game I'm looking forward to most for 2012 is the game against the Patriots. That'll probably be a great game.

The Broncos traded Tim Tebow.

I'm kinda happy with this decision. He wasn't really a QB and we needed to start fresh with Manning. I'm hoping that in the next few years we draft another QB in the first round, since Manning won't be around for more than five years. If only there was some way to get Cutler and Marshall back here after Manning retires lol. =P =P =P

I wish Tim Tebow well with the Jets. :)

IMO, the Tebow trade is one of the worst decisions I've ever seen the Broncos make.

Tebow won eight games for them last season, including a playoff game against the Steelers.  He generated revenue through jersey sales, kept attendance at the games up, and was clearly difficult for a team to completely prepare for (or play a 60-minute game against).  He showed the potential to be at least a good quarterback with some throws, like the DeMaryius Thomas td in overtime against the Steelers.  All he needs is a decent quarterback to show him how to actually throw the ball, which is what Peyton Manning would have done.

Also, Peyton Manning is only a temporary answer.  I don't believe he will play out the 5 years on his contract.  The Broncos need a quarterback after Manning, and at this point, they don't have one.  Tebow would have made sense for this role.  I think Elway hated Tebow becuase Tebow isn't the same type of quarterback as Elway was and Elway couldn't stand how the fans reacted so positively to Tebow.  Elway even agreed to the Jets paying the Broncos less than Tebow's contract stated to get rid of him.
