Mario and his friends had entered to a bleak future while riding on a time machine. That future was destroyed by Lavos, and players must get enough stars to defeat it.
Gimmick- Players start at the portal and must take a linear path to the star, where you can buy up to 20 stars for 10 coins each. Then, you walk through Death Peak and walk back to start. There is a shortcut pipe that would take you to Boo.
Happening Spaces (Beginning) - If you land on them, you will earn between 5 and 10 coins
Happening Spaces (Middle)- If you land on these spaces, Bowser would take you star or 25 coins. Watch Out!
Death Peak Happening Spaces- If you land on them, expect to lose 13 coins by an angry Lavos.
Item Shop- All the mushroom items are here as well as a Bowser Phone, a Bowser Suit, and a Koopa Card
Trivia Zone- In the trivia zone, you get to answer questions about Chrono Trigger. Get one correct and earn 7 coins
