Yes, it’s finally happening. Mario Party 3 is set to release on Nintendo Switch Online on October 27, 2023.
The Nintendo 64 classic was announced as a Nintendo Switch Online game over a year ago during a Nintendo Direct in September 2022. Yes, you read that right. Over a year ago. Each excruciating month since has been a disappointment as we eagerly awaited the completion of the Nintendo 64 trilogy. We don’t mind waiting, but this was excessive.
A few cool things to note. Because this is Nintendo Switch Online, you can officially play Mario Party 3 online for the first time. In fact, this is the first time Mario Party 3 has ever been rereleased in any form. Over 22 years since it was originally released in 2001 in North America!
