Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope Announced

A brand new sequel to Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle was announced today during Ubisoft’s E3 2021 digital presentation. Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope will release on the Nintendo Switch sometime in 2022.

Mario and the gang are once again teaming up with Ubisoft’s wild Rabbids franchise as they dive farther into the world of Mario by introducing the cosmos and galaxies beyond the Mushroom Kingdom. The crew, this time joined by Rabbid Rosalina, set off to rescue Rabbid versions of Lumas named Sparks as the encounter evil foes like the new villain Cursa. These new cuddly characters offer special abilities on the battlefield.

The sequel was unfortunately leaked mere hours before the official announcement when a store page for the game went live on Nintendo’s official website. The page was taken offline.

In addition to the cinematic trailer, Ubisoft also released a video showcasing quick clips of gameplay.
