Although Sakurai has retired his Pictures of the Day for Super Smash Bros, Mario Party Legacy are proud to deliver a community driven series where YOU submit your images for everyone to see! We’re updating EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK! (Please click this to listen to the above in the Announcer’s [not really] voice.)
Want to submit your own image? Use the submission tool at the bottom of this page (before the comments!) to send in your Miiverse posts! You might be able to make it as one of our pictures of the day!
The rules of the CPOTD are in Week 1’s post. Please refer to there if you forget, or are new to the submission process. Check out this image for instructions on uploading to Imgur. And if you want to post Smash 3DS images but you DON’T have a New 3DS, just go to Games and More -> Vault -> Album, choose your image, then select Send -> Post to Miiverse.

The Future of Smash Bros., the only time you can see all your Favourite Nintendo Characters come together. Let’s see what they have to say about it.
Mario: I love it when we all get to be together.
Link: More and More New Experiences come to be each time, like 8 of us being in Battle at once, and having Ω Variants of our Fascinating Stages. The possibilities are Endless.
Fox: Our platforms just get more Powerful and Powerful, more to put in.
Luigi: Saying our Platforms won’t have Smash Bros. is like saying our Platforms won’t have Mario Kart. No Platform since the SNES and N64 respectively has gone without. Though always just 1 per Platform. Mario Kart and Smash Bros. have always boosted our Platforms Sales. And don’t forget who’s the best. ME, WEEGEE!
Mario: So, who do you think should join our Roster next time. I think Captain Toad.
Link: I hope my Younger Toony Self goes and my Female Self joins.
Samus: Man, to finally have someone else from my Franchise join. That would be swell, tired of it just being me.
Olimar: Those Ink Blasting Teenagers who turn into Squids.
Shulk: My Mech Cousin, Elma.
Lucario: A Yet to be Discovered Region Pokemon.
Mewtwo: Don’t forget as usual a New NES Ambassador. If I return next time, I praise I’ll make it from the Get Go and not again be just a Late DLF (Downloadable Fighter). It’s been nice to see what they’ve made of Charizard, Lucario and Greninja either way, and hopefully who Lucario mentioned will be as well. Turns out he hasn’t actually been a “Replacement” for me after all.
Sonic: I certainly hope I’ll be back, that I’ll be in Every Smash Bros. Game with Mario until my Fame dies. I dunno bout you Pacman, you were a Special Occasion, but I hope you return with me Megaman. And I hope that Limbless Purple Helicopter Boy and that Chameleon whose not related to Espio will get to fight alongside us. I hear he has a lot more up his sleeve than Espio does with his companion.
Dark Pit: I dunno bout you two, that Red Plumber’s Paper Self and that Lady by the Lake with Blue Hair who doesn’t wield a Sword might have far better chances. Personally I see myself returning next game, I can easily make my fighting style more unique than Light Pit, like that Fast Blue Gun Wielding Bird had done.
Villager: Hopefully Sakurai will hear our intentions for the next time we come together like this. For the next 3 or 4 years from now, we should stay tuned on what there will be to offer. LONG LIVE SMASH BROS., THE ONLY TIME NINTENDO CHARACTERS CAN ALL COME TO BE TOGETHER.
Fox: Even if that Departure Time comes, I’m sure Smash Bros. will still to well without Sakurai.
Falco: Yeah, like that Star Fox Ripoff with Humans, Robots and Reptilian Guys still does well without Lucas (with the glasses, not with the Orange Shirt). At least that doesn’t have Evil Monkeys who get on my nerves.
Yoshi: Yoshi Yoshi Yoshi.
Captain Falcon: I’ll do the talking. As usually, we should expect our Franchises Newer Games represented in the Next Smash Bros., like that Fox’s Star Fox Zero, or even have Teasers to things not yet out by then, like this Frog-like Dinosaurs Woolly World stage here. I really hope I’ll finally have a New Game between now and the Next Game Smash Bros..
