We’re back with another question of the week!

As we have always done in the past, let’s take a look back at the last Question of the Week from this past July. We asked for your opinions on the end of Club Nintendo and how you spent your time with the service. Luigidenne3DSGCN used the service to download digital games and become introduced to new series, while RobinFTW and Yoshiman222 noted that how amiibo awards could have greatly improved the service. And poor Luigiguy567 signed up just as the program was ending!

And with that said, let’s focus in on our question for this week…

Will Nintendo have a successful holiday season?

The holiday season is always a huge one for Nintendo, as well as anyone else hoping to sell big during the buying season. Nintendo typically saves big titles for release during this time period. Last year we had Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Captain Toad, while the year before saw the release of Super Mario 3D World. But what about this year?

So far, Nintendo has released The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, Yoshi’s Woolly World, and (just released today!) Yo-kai Watch. But what’s left? With Star Fox Zero delayed until next year, we’re looking at a holiday season with the release of the lackluster Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash and the niche title Xenoblade Chronicles X. Is this enough for Nintendo to make it’s impact?

For me personally, Nintendo has nothing to do with my plans this holiday season. With the exception of Tri Force Heroes, none of the currently released games and the upcoming games spark my interest enough to take away attention from games on other platforms. When I’ve got games like Fallout 4, Tomb Raider, and Star Wars Battlefront, I have no reason to look at Nintendo this holiday season.

But! Say something like a Twilight Princess remake is announced. That might spark my interest! But enough about what I think. Let’s hear your thoughts in the comments!
