With the big August update finally upon us, it’s time to take these turf wars to the next level as we go splat each other in specialized Custom Battles! Featuring all the Ranked Modes at the moment as well!
What do I need to do to join?
Quite simple – send a friend request to the NNID of any host stating you wana join the Splatoon CN and we’ll add you. After we add you, just join when we begin! (You can also add/join the other players throughout the chat too if you wish just in case there’s not enough hosts) It starts from our regular CN time this Saturday, August 8th at 1PM PST.
Don’t forget that we’re doing custom battles so make sure you join through that.
Host(s):
SuperZambezi
What about the Splatfest? Won’t it come in and block the custom rooms?
…yes, we thought of that. I know when Splatfests go on for some stupid reason they blocked entry into joining friends and ranked battles, however, I have doubts they’ll be stupid enough to block custom battles for friend games only. However, in the case that does happen, I have a few alternatives set up instead in the form of Mario Kart 8’s Official CN room, a Super Smash Bros. for WiiU tourney room (Made by SZ), and a Pre-made Mario Golf World Tour Tournament.
You can find all tournament info listed below if you wish to join regardless of what happens :
Mario Kart 8 : 8907-8619-5456
Super Smash Bros. For WiiU : To be created.
Mario Gold World Tour : Hidden until CN starts.
Important Notes:
– No cheating, this is just an event for fun, not some kind of competition.
– Respect the other players. Don’t come on just to ruin everyone else’s fun.
– No cheating/glitches, or anything that could break the game unless your whole group is fine with it.
– Finally – have fun!
We’ll be using the shoutbox below for the duration of the community night – feel free to chat with your fellow readers before we begin and perhaps even set up some practice matches while you are waiting. See you all then!
