Yoshi’s Woolly World Released For PAL Regions!

Yoshi’s Woolly World, a game that was first announced in the Wednesday, January 23, 2013 Wii U Direct, has finally released in Australia and Europe. The PAL territories can now play as Yoshi to travel through six worlds collecting stuff to unlock content. Make your way through to rescue your favorite Yoshi buddies in different colors and costumes and fight against Kamek and Baby Bowser. The Yarn Yoshi amiibo figures (Green, Pink, and Light Blue) are also available in retailers. Use them (or Smash Yoshi or Super Mario Bros. Yoshi variants) to have an extra Yoshi in play, as if you were playing 2-player co-op. All of the Super Smash Bros. amiibo figures (EXCEPT Pokémon) will grant you a Yoshi costume for that amiibo character. Toad can also be used, as well.

Yoshi’s Woolly World will be released in Japan on Thursday, July 16, 2015, while North Americans will have to wait nearly four months to get the hands on the game, in which it will not release until Friday, October 16, 2015.

While our PAL players are playing Yoshi’s Woolly World, North Americans are not left out. North Americans can play Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, a Nintendo DS game that is just released for the Wii U eShop. The game will run you $9.99. If you’re thinking of getting Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam when it comes in Spring 2016, now would be a good time to get started on the series to get a feel.
