MPL Community Picture of the Day: Week 19

Although Sakurai has retired his Pictures of the Day for Super Smash Bros, Mario Party Legacy are proud to deliver a community driven series where YOU submit your images for everyone to see! We’re updating EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK! (Please click this to listen to the above in the Announcer’s [not really] voice.)
The rules of the CPOTD are in Week 1’s post. Please refer to there if you forget, or are new to the submission process.

Smash 3DS images can now be uploaded even if you DON’T have a New 3DS – make sure you update to version 1.0.5, then go to Games and More -> Vault -> Album, choose your image, then select Send -> Post to Miiverse. Send in those 3DS Smash pics, and we might just have Smash 3DS dedicated days!**

Monday, April 13

Hey everyone~
A while back I discovered that in the 3DS version, my down taunt had me pose differently depending on which way I faced. While I said back then that the Wii U version only has me do the finger point for Sweet~! (I know, I say Ah-ha~ with it now…), there’s more to it than that! Here I am in a four player Smash…

…and here I am in a six player Smash! (Actually, make that eight players; Falco and Toon Link are here as well, but they’re on another platform.) Notice that I got the hand-wave back? I was pleasantly surprised by it too~!

Unlike in the 3DS version, the pose I make is the same whether I started facing left or right; instead it depends on how many fighters are in the battle with me. With five players or more, I’ll wave my hand.
I guess it’s more appropriate to appeal to the crowd in a frantic melee, and to tease my rivals with the finger point in a one-on-one brawl, hm~?
