An upcoming update for Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and Wii U will add the ability to use downloadable content set to release in the coming months. Ver. 1.0.6 will also tweak character balancing and add sharing functionalists.

In addition to the updates coming to the game, Sakurai has opened up a Smash Bros. Fighter Ballot, a poll that will allow players to submit picks for their most wanted fighters.
