Before anyone gets worried, this game is confirmed to see release in North America and Europe. Details for this game for other regions are forthcoming.

I keep my excitement levels low. I am surprised to see a Mario game based on Puzzle & Dragon series, though. Like Zelda based on Dynasty Warriors.

This is an entry for Puzzel & Dragons, not a brand-new type of Mario game, reused artwork is expected.

Too bad if it’s not coming outside of Japan, it looks awesome, it’s a game that I would buy and I’m sure I’m not the only one, the game it’s like Candy Crush Saga, if Nintendo puts a reasonable price on it for sure it will sell good.

So does this count as a Mario game? I mean sure its not the basic platforming Mario….and the concept of the game isn’t really Mario related or even Mario Party related….But he’s plastered all over this game in might as well be his.

And if this really is a Mario game…Does that mean Nintendo mislead us? No Mario Game for 2015, but yet we have one. Maybe they meant “Main-Stream Mario”

Yes, it’s a Mario game. Or a Mario game that’s crossed with Puzzle & Dragons. It’s happened before, what about Mario & Sonic at the Olympics? Zelda and Dynasty Warriors? Pokémon and Nobunaga’s Ambition?

They mean no 3D Mario game for Wii U… like a 3D Mario game where you collect 120 stars. They do not aim to have Mario into an annually franchise, like Call of Duty. Plus, we already have a 3D Mario game for Wii U. That’s Super Mario 3D World.

Speaking of Zelda, one of my Zelda ideas is a arts and crafts styled game. And they need one that has the dungeons play like Treasure Tracker.

I Consider this game and other Mario Games releasing in 2015 to have Stuff to do with it being the 30th Anniversary of Super Mario Bros. in it.
*Already this has been a nice start up adventure.

IT’S THE 34TH ANNIVERSARY OF MARIO! His first game was Donkey Kong. WHICH WAS IN 1981!

Nintendo doesn’t count the Donkey Kong game to be his first game. He had no official name back then and its been 30 years since he first started his platforming series as Super Mario Bros.

So it’s his 30th.

Uhhhh….No Idea…also it was 1983 not 84.

To be fair, Nintendo did celebrate Luigi 30th anniversary and his first appearance was in Mario Bros…..so Mario Bros counts as Luigi’s birth and Super Mario Bros counts as the true birth of Mario.

Anniversaries since Mario’s Debut in 1981 have hardly been celebrated by Nintendo, but Anniversaries of the Mario we know and love today (stomping Goombas, Collecting Coins, Collecting Power Ups, and Saving a Princess in a Full Pledged Adventure) since SMB have.

I wonder if there will be amiibo support for this game? Maybe the amiibo peripheral will be released sometime in March or early April, although I doubt it.
