Nintendo fans worried that Super Smash Bros. for Wii U might get delayed can worry no more as it now has a confirmed release date. Nintendo announced today that Super Smash Bros. for Wii U will launch in North America on November 21st. The European release will follow on December 5th. The Australian and Japanese release will coincide on December 6th. The game will retail at a suggested MSRP of $59.99. Also launching with the game will be the first line of Amiibo figures. Each figure retails for $12.99 each. Figures include the following Nintendo characters: Mario, Peach, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Link, Fox, Samus, Wii Fit Trainer, Villager, Pikachu, Kirby and Marth.
The 3DS counterpart of Super Smash Bros. launched last week in North America and Europe on October 3rd. The Super Smash Bros. series matches up iconic Nintendo characters from a myriad of series to duke it out for once and for all.
