Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS Internationally Available!

ssbday339

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS is now internationally available! It’s time to start smashing for real! You can download it now from the Nintendo eShop for $39.99, or pick the game up at your nearest retailer for the packaged version! In order for you to play online, you must have downloaded the update patch that was released earlier. This fixes the glitch that bans Peach players and adds Conquest Mode.

For those of you in Europe and Australia, the Super Smash Bros. 3DS XL bundle is now available as well, and it also comes with the game pre-installed.

Before you start smashing, be sure to connect to the internet first thing so you can get your Global Smash Power set up, as Sakurai suggested you do so.

As of now, there are still no reports on a solid release date for the Super Smash Bros. for Wii U game. Most are speculating Friday, November 21, 2014, but we must wait until Nintendo confirms the date themselves.

I hate being in Aus. Surely they could’ve just released it a couple hours before US and EU instead of a couple hours after.

At least we’re getting the new 3DS before US and UK! That’s our moment of triumph!

A few things to say about the 3DS version: 1. I’m now 100% sure it will be inferior to the Wii U version. 2. Smash Run is actually incredibly boring after a few rounds. (To my tastes, anyways) 3. Melee is still my favorite Smash game, but I’m sure the Wii U version will top it (praying for Mewtwo, Issac, Dixie Kong, and Ridley DLC) 4.Once you unlock all the fighters, the game feels a little bland. Like, there’s nothing else left to do. 5. All Smash games, from my favorite too my least favorite (there are no bad Smash… Read more »
