The origin of Master Hand has been a hot debate in Smash Bros. circles for many years. Theories have ranged from the insane to the most logical explanation being that Master Hand is actually the Hamburger Helper mascot. Some who doubted that the mascot, officially named Helping Hand, was Master Hand have pointed out that Master Hand is clearly a right handed glove while Helping Hand is a lefty.
