The official website for the two upcoming Super Smash Bros. titles is occasionally updated with news other than the regular Pictures of the Day. To mark the ‘one month to go mark’ before the Japanese release of Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, a new blowout of information has been released on the official website.

The new information includes:
- Basic Controls – a rundown of controls and their corresponding moves. It appears that the control schemes for the Wii U Gamepad might mirror those of the Nintendo 3DS.
- Stages 1 – a quick look at some of the stages that will feature in the two versions of the game – both version specific, and shared. No new information, but a couple of pretty screenshots (some new, some old).
- Solo – a more comprehensive introduction to the beloved Classic Mode – detailing splitting paths, stage-clear rewards, and the Intensity system first featured in Kid Icarus: Uprising – as well as discussion on the Stadium. Interestingly, Target Smash does not appear – could it have been usurped by Target Blast??

These paths might represent difficulty levels, given their color and en-route coin bonuses.
Now you know which stage you’re on, and your reward! The beauty of two screens, Smashers.
Finally, we learn how custom parts look like in the rewards section.
Here’s hoping the bottom screen can be interacted with, like in KIU.
