Yoshi Valley and Sherbet Land In Mario Kart 8?

A total of 26 of the 32 tracks in Mario Kart 8 have already been revealed, but recent footage suggests that Yoshi Valley from Mario Kart 64 and Sherbet Land from Mario Kart: Double Dash!! are set to appear in Mario Kart 8 as two of the three remaining retro tracks.

In the track Sunshine Airport, arrival and departure times and locations can be seen on the screens within the airport. When Sunshine Airport was first announced, these screens were used to determine the names of other tracks, as all the locations were actual tracks found within the game. In the most recent footage of Sunshine Airport, Yoshi Valley and Sherbet Land can be seen listed among other confirmed tracks.

Do you think these two tracks are in? The terminal screen has yet to be wrong! And what do you think the very last unrevealed retro track will be? My vote is on GBA Ribbon Road!

Yoshi Valley is like a Maze. With so many bends, the placing of each character is represented by a ? until the race is over. This is not going to be an easy retro course.

A Retro Rainbow Road should appear as well, from Mario Kart: Double Dash.

Interesting is that for the Rosalina and Luma Trailer we saw a Rainbow Road similar to the one from Mario Kart Wii, maybe it’s the new one but a redesigned version of the Wii one 😀

I think even the developer said it in an interview just like in Mario Kart 7,Mario Kart 8 will have 2 Rainbow Road’s as well a new one and a returning and re-made one!

Yes, I remember seeing an interview that said that Rainbow Road would be difficult but you would have enough experience by the time you got there.

I dont think think Yoshi Valley will be in there because there are already (at least from what I know) two N64 tracks in the game. This is good evidence to prove this though!!

I’m pretty sure it will be a Wii course. Either Toad’s Factory, Wario’s Gold Mine, Dry Dry Ruins, or Moonview Highway. Or maybe it could be a Bowser’s Castle from, any of them. If it is I hope it’s DS.

Yoshi Valley can’t be a retro course because if they make Mario Kart 9, then for the N64 retro tracks, they would need to use the last two Mario Kart 64 tracks that weren’t used as retro tracks (Yoshi Valley and Wario Stadium). For Sherbet Land, it could be the name of the last new track not revealed yet that is actually a mystery. If it isn’t the name of one of the new courses, then they should instead go with Wario Colosseum also from Mario Kart: Double Dash. Just look at that track. It’s perfect for Anti-Gravity.

It’s this what I think:
Yoshi Valley: I like it, but nahhh… it won’t appear in MK8, really 4 tracks of 64 and 3 of 3DS, a bit ironic but nahhh…
Sherbet Land: I hope that course returns, it was one of my favs from Double Dash!!

I’m expecting a Bowser Castle to be the last retro track, since we haven’t seen one yet. I think it’d be GCN, or DS Bowser Castle.

EVER SINGLE N64 TRACK I WANTED ACTUALLY HAPPENED. THE NEW TRAILER WAS FREAKING AWESOME. Now, here’s my final 6 Retro Tracks Predications I wanna see, and note that I have no Wii retro tracks in this list or N64 retro tracks because Nintendo used my N64 list and I wanted Wii Toad’s Factory, however they choose Moo Moo Medows instead unfortunately, well here they are, enjoy:
1. SNES Mario Circuit 4
2. GBA Bowser Castle 4
3. GCN Sherbert Land
4. GCN Bowser’s Castle
5. DS Shroom Ridge
6. 3DS Daisy Hills

Since there is one more left to be revealed, I’m going to say it’s either SNES Mario Circuit 4 (because some people have said it’s been confirmed, but I haven’t found any evidence) or, more likely, a Wii course, being Bowser’s Castle.

Sorry Staryu, I don’t see Daisy Circuit returning… but I hope it does!

Look at the previous MK games with SNES Mario Ciruits. It’s definitely returing and no Wii Bowser’s Castle. It’s too early. GCN Bowser’s Castle will take it’s spot along with GBA Bowser’s Castle 4. And Wii Daisy Ciruit, yeah… no. I think 2 Wii tracks are fine, so other tracks from previous games return like DS Shroom Ridge.

Look at my comment down. So what SNES Donut Plains 3 is returning? THAT DOESN’T MEAN THAT MC4 ISN’T RETURNING. It has to return, no matter what, there’s chances it’s returning, I’m going to say this again: MC 1-3 had appeared in MKDS, MKWii, and MK7. Nintendo can’t leave out the fourth track just because of Donut Plains 3? No. Just no. Nintendo HAS to finish the MC thingy along with GBA BC(I don’t know why they aren’t the SNES BC yet, but I think they will use them in the next game hopefully). Also, MC4 has interesting things in… Read more »

Once again, that doesn’t guarantee it a 100% reveal. Why? Because it’s not official information. And I’ll say this one more time: Nothing is consistent with Mario Kart (except a new Mario Circuit, Bowser Castle, and Rainbow Road in every Mario Kart. But those are nitro courses. No Retro tracks are consistent. The GBA Bowser Castles are out of order, they have only recently been continuing the SNES Donut Plains courses. The SNES Mario Circuits could change at any moment.) Wait until the course IS (or IF it is) confirmed and THEN you can poke fun of me all you… Read more »

Mario circuit 4 is not going to return, because We have SNES Donut plains 3, and we have a mario circuit retro course that is the GBA version, that why i think SNES MC4 its not going to return, and because that track sucks, i think the last one will be GCN Wario Colosium, GCN Bowsers castle or GBA Bowsers castle 4

Here’s how I few the final course possibilities:
GCN Wario Colosseum: 35% Chance
GCN Bowser’s Castle: 85% Chance
GBA Bowser’s Castle 4: 90% Chance
SNES Mario Circuit 4: 0% Chance

Thank you Nintendo. Yoshi Valley is one of my favorite courses, assuming it is in. Yoshi Valley hopefully still doesn’t reveal place numbers when playing. Also Sherbet Land makes me really really happy. Final one I will assume it will be a Bowser Castle, since there has always been one in the retro tracks. It is odd that there is no SNES Mario Circuits. This is leading me to believe there will be no GBA Bowser Castle. I think I will go with GCN Bowser Castle as the final track if their are 16 retro tracks.
