In a recent Newegg listing for Mario Party 3DS, new features were revealed that make use of the 3DS’s capabilities. The game will feature some sort of StreetPass functionality that engages players in some sort of battle. The standard minigame mode returns, but we are also getting some sort of new mode that has players climbing a 30-floor tower. Details are sketchy, but more information should be revealed as we move closer to November. Read the full Newegg description below:
This Mario Party game for the 3DS features seven different game boards, each with its own set of rules. The game offers 81 new mini-games that test speed, concentration and luck. In addition to the board game elements, players are able to play mini-games exclusively or try their hands at a 30-floor tower climb, AR Card games and StreetPass battles.
It’s also interesting to note that the game is set for a release on November 1, but this is most likely a placeholder date as the game has been confirmed to arrive this November.
