Last year we saw Nintendo deck out their E3 booth with Nintendo Land themed arches and sets, but this year Nintendo decided to do things a bit differently. Instead of theming the entire area after one game, six of the major upcoming Nintendo titles got their own photo set somewhere in the booth. For example, exhibitors got the chance to get their photo taken inside a pipe against a Super Mario 3D World backdrop, or hop into a kart against the Mario Kart 8 background.
It’s also interesting to note that the lines to get your photo taken were even longer than your average line for any of the demos in the booth. Sharing a photo of you hiding behind Olimar and a couple of Pikmin on Facebook or Twitter is apparently more important than playing Nintendo’s latest offerings.
