After years of development, the fan made Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii has finally been released! The hack of New Super Mario Bros. Wii features all new levels, new music, new mechanics, new enemies, new bosses, a brand new world map, and even a classic item from a past game! Enough cannot be said about how ambitious this project was, so it’s a huge relief to finally see it available. Watch the trailer below!

If you’re interested in playing the hack, you’ll need a copy of the original New Super Mario Bros. Wii, as well as Riivolution, a homebrew Wii Channel that allows you to mod your games. For more information on how to play, check the Newer website.
