With only a month before release, Nintendo has released a detailed intro for Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon. The intro shows most of what we already knew. Professor E. Gadd calls for Luigi’s help after King Boo shatters the Dark Moon, causing all his friendly ghosts to wreak havoc and escape.
There are quite a few things to note. Last time we speculated that a total of five pieces of the Dark Moon break apart, but it turns out there are actually six pieces in all. The intro shows Luigi in what appears to be his very own house. Looks like the shared living between Mario and Luigi in the Paper Mario series didn’t last. One last thing to note. During the scenes showing Luigi on his recliner, the map featured in the original Luigi’s Mansion can be seen behind Luigi on the wall.
