Analyzing the Mansions of Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon

Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon is less than two months away from release, and with that comes a grand amount of anticipation and speculation. Today we’ll take a look at the five different mansions we know will play a part in the main story of the game. The game has Luigi going through multiple mansions in search of the shattered pieces of the Dark Moon, but exactly how many mansions Luigi will have traverse through is unknown. There may be more, but these are the five mansions we are certain are in the game.

Before discussing the actual mansions themselves, let’s take a look at the map for the game, as revealed by a scan released a week ago.

From the looks of it, you can see all five of the confirmed mansions in their own respective areas, as well as what looks like Professor E. Gadd’s new lab in the bottom left corner. And to help further the notion that there are only five mansions in the game, take a look at these screens that suggest only five pieces were broken off the Dark Moon.

Each mansion will have plenty to talk about, so expect separate articles on each of the mansions in the coming days. Below we have silhouette of the five mansions, as well as the multiplayer only Scarescraper mansion.
