Maximum Coin Limit Reached in New Super Mario Bros. 2

Just like they did for the million coin reward, Nintendomination has done it again by collecting 9,999,999 coins in New Super Mario Bros 2. While there was never a reward promised for accomplishing this achievement, Nintendo did slip something in for those that went the extra mile.

No, we don’t get a completely new alternative title screen. Instead, the Gold Mario statue is replaced with a Gold Racoon Mario Statue, and your coin count freezes at 9,999,999 coins. It’s a nice extra, but it’s nothing you should go out of your way to get.
