Get ready for New Super Mario Bros. U! The game is expected to release this year, so it’s no surprise that Game Informer has revealed its October 2012 Issue to feature the game on the front cover. The issue will have a ten-page cover story for the game, as well as in interview with Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka. Get ready for an onslaught of information!

Game Informer is also planning on releasing information through their online Wii U hub. New Super Mario Bros. U will certainly get some of the spotlight, and they have even teased us with a few snippets of screens from the game. From the hub, we can already see that:
- Underground levels with the moving, crystal platforms are returning.
- Ice Mario is returning.
Nothing huge, but still nice to have some kind of news since E3. Check out the image below:
