Mega Mushroom Returns in New Super Mario Bros. 2

While the confirmation of the Mega Mushroom was already revealed in the official art released last week, we finally get to see it in action, thanks to the Japanese 3DS XL website.

In addition to the Mega Mushroom screen, we also get another look at both screens during gameplay. It looks like there will be a bubble button that will allow a player to hop into a floating bubble during co-op to avoid any potential danger in the level. Also, players will be sharing lives as the progress through each level, and the coin count looks like its also a shared score.
