ORIGINAL STORY: During his trip to visit the Louvre Museum in Paris, Miyamoto took the time to sit down with Spanish magazine elmundo.es. Throughout the interview, Miyamoto dropped some small tidbits that might interest the large community of Mario fans. Coming from a NeoGAF post:

– He is working in several small but important projects. Right now he is very focused on Pikmin 3 and Luigi’s Mansion 2

Nintendo will show a new Super Mario game for the Wii U at E3. Combining the TV screen with the tablet screen.

– He wants to make something with the Wii Music IP.

So what could this mean? This is clearly separate from the already confirmed 2D Mario side-scroller for the 3DS that will also be shown at E3. Should we expect another entry into the Galaxy series or maybe an entire new direction for the platforming Mario games? Sound off in the comments and let us know what you think!
