Mario Party 3 is the third installment in the series of Mario Party. This also the last Mario Party game released on the Nintendo 64. There is a total of 6 all new game boards, not including 6 new Duel Maps and over 70 mini-games to play through! All 6 playable characters from the first game are back along with 2 newcomers, Waluigi and Daisy. There are also tons of new modes like Story Mode and Duel Mode.

Story

Once every thousand years, a star named Millennium Star was born. Since it was newborn, it fell from the sky. Meanwhile, Mario and friends were relaxing when the Millennium Star came crashing down. Mario and friends argue about who should keep it. Lakitu came by with a chest containing Mario Party. That’s right, they’re going have to play the boards to see who can possess the Millennium Star! Suddenly, the Millennium Star gave a bright flash of light and transformed everything into a Paper Mario feel in a chest! Now the Millennium Star wants to prove yourself worthy of possessing him by collecting Star Stamps.
