Mario Party has six modes to choose from; Warp Pipe, Mini-Game House, Mini-Game Island, Mushroom Shop, Mushroom Bank, and Option House.
Warp Pipe
The Warp Pipe is where all the Party Boards are played. You have the option of choosing the number of human players and 4 of the 6 playables characters. You also choose 1 of the 8 boards (2 of which are unlockable), and the number of turns (20, 35, or 50).
Mini-Game House
At the Mini-Game House, you can use money to buy Mini-Games that you have previously played on the Party Boards. Mini-Games cost from 50-500 coins depending on the type of Mini-Game. If you want to try a Mini-Game, you can pay 10 coins for a single try.
You can also play the Mini-Games you buy freely by going to the Crystal Ball.
After you buy the Mecha Fly Guy from the Mushroom Shop, you can use him to see how many times you can rotate the control stick in a certain amount of time.
Mini-Game Stadium
The Mini-Game Stadium is similar to the Party Boards, but there are no Stars and Blue and Red Spaces do not give or take coins. You win coins by playing Mini-Games at the end of each turn and the player with the most coins at the end of the game wins.
Mini-Game Island
Mini-Game Island is a big World Map where your player must survive through 50 Mini-Games with a limited amount of lives. The 50 Mini-Games are split into 9 worlds and each has its own theme. Each Mini-Game is represented by a space.
Mushroom Shop
If you aren’t using your coins on buying Mini-Games, then you are probably spending them here at the Mushroom Shop. The Mushroom Shop has a total of 15 items to buy, some of which will appear after you complete different things.

In the Option Hose, ask the Toad to erase all the data on the game. You can also set your Sound settings. After you unlock the Record and the Talking Parrot from the Mushroom Shop, you can use them here to listen to the game music and character’s voices.
