What would you do if a spotless Paper Toad was delivered right to your doorstep? Well, if you’re Mario and Peach, you’re heading right for Prism Island to investigate. Cue the usual shenanigans. Bowser is up to no good, this time sporting a coat of black paint, and you’ve got a whole host of Paint Stars to track down and collect. And there you have it, a new Paper Mario game!

Our walkthrough is broken up by each individual level. Some levels have more than one Paint Star to collect, and you’ll also jump back and forth between a few them. Don’t worry, we’ll let you know when and where to go! The game doesn’t really do chapters, but for the sake of Paper Mario’s history, we’ll separate the levels as such. Need a more visual guide?
