Which Mario Party had your favorite roster?

So we all know Mario Parties have had rosters scaling from the original 6 to 14 at highest. Mario Party hasn't had a terrible roster to date (Looking at you, Mario Kart franchise!). I disincluded Mario Party Advance as I doubt people liked the roster of 4... Choosing a favorite roster was hard for me but I think I narrowed it down to Mario Party 7. Though I chose some honorable mentions...
1.) Mario Party 7
2.) Mario Party 5 (Loved playing as Koopa Kid)
3.) Mario Party 9

So vote on which Mario Party had your favorite roster and even leave your top three in the comments!

1.) Mario Party 8 (Love Hammer Bro. to death; plus, it has 14 characters [Miis excluded]).
2.) Mario Party 9 (Like the new characters added, despite removing characters that are more deserving).
3.) Mario Party 7 (Very good & solid roster at best, like Dry Bones).

1. Mario Party 3 and 4(Their rosters are the same so...)
2. Mario Party 5.
3. Mario Party 8.

In case if my Number 1 choice of 3 and 4's roster may be strange to you, it's just plain and simple. MP7 had 12 characters, which isn't a bad thing, but you're only going to use 4 of them.(And assuming you can't get 7 other people to play the 8-player mode...)
(Plus those games have DK playable)

1. Mario Party: Island Tour (I like the addition to Bowser Jr. for some reason.)
2. Mario Party 9 (Same reason for Shy Guy and Kamek)
3. Mario Party 1 and 2 (Because they are classics.)

Obviously, 8 is my favorite, because it has the most characters. 7 is also solid as well.

I really like the choices!  It's the hardest thing for me in this game to pick a character I really like Yoshi (obviously) Toadette,Wario,Waluigi,Luigi,Dry Bones and the newcommer Hammer Bro!  ;D
Mario Party 9 roster is pretty good too,i like Koopa and ShyGuy!

Mario Party 7 definitely. I didn't care much for 8's additions. I liked Toadette's return from 6 but Koopa Kid was removed sadly. I enjoyed the additions of Dry Bones and Birdo so the roster in 7 is just great overall. I'm just very satisfied with Yoshi, Waluigi, Daisy, Toad and Toadette so I guess the rest doesn't matter much for me.

From these that I've played - Mario Party 8 and 9. They had some of my favorite characters like Boo and Shy Guy.
