The Shining

Did anybody watch the Shining?

I watched it several times, and it's one of my favorite movies of all time. Each time I see it the movie gets scarier and scarier. I love the "Here's Johnny!" scene. The ending is very confusing, I don't understand it

Why is Jack in the 1921 photo? Was he reincarnated or was he possessed by the ghosts

Never read the book or seen the movies. It was all too confusing of King's Book is better, the TV series is alright and closest to the book but the book is still better, Kubrik put his own spin on it and it's still good, etc. I just said "eh" to all choices because it was gonna be at least 2 hours of my time anyway

I've read AND seen the movie. I prefer the book more because of the better character development. Like Jack was supposed to be a "Jeckyll/Hyde" type of character when he was beginning to phase out, but in the movie he was just portrayed as a psychopath.
