I've recently been playing this one quite a bit.
Just got a gold star and then beat all the extra levels (which is just a repeat of the entire game).
Getting to the extra levels is kind-of stupid if you have no idea how to, as it just makes you end the game if you don't do it... which they don't explain how, even though... you can do something... which hopefully should be obvious.
...if you don't know how, just do something.

I have been playing this as well, but but I keep running into trouble in like Scene 4, with the big boss-like guy. Maybe I need to use some of the scrolls more wisely in that scene. And it's sort of hard to get 100.0% ratio, but for some ninjas, it's easy. Others, not so tough.
